About
Tech Chicas is a safe space for girls and nongender binary students to take tech risks, learn problem solving skills to troubleshoot and build tech leadership skills.
Purpose
Women and women of color are underrepresented in tech companies and in STEM/ STEAM fields.
Exposure to STEAM activities at a young age will motivate young girls to major in STEM fields.
Tech Chicxs was created to empower young girls to persevere and allow programming and tech skills to grow.
